"To Sit With Yourself "

This piece has been in the works for a few months now. It was at first a technical study, but with time became something much deeper to me. The viewpoint of the model was reminiscent of times throughout my life in which I have kept myself busy as a form of avoidance. In thise times, I would rarely sit with myself and reflect of the direction of my life and career but when I would, it would fell suddenly heavy. I wanted to capture that feeling in this piece.

Tarot Deck Project
Buckle up guys, because this project is a big one!
The concept for this project came entirely from two artist colleagues of mine. They had the idea of creating a custom tarot deck. With this project, the three of us are collaborating to create the design and deck. Taylor is handling the card research, development, and design. Ernesto is pulling models, setting shoots, and taking/editing reference photos. I am in charge of creating the custom paintings(AKA finished product). We are actively working on the first two cards in this series and plan to maintain a pace of two cards per month. If your math is as slow is mine, I ll save you some time. This project is projected to be completed towards the end of 2027. Please stay tuned as we will be posting updates on all social medias!
